Jennifer Martinez-Medina Public Affairs & Policy Ph.D. Candidate

As an aspiring comparativist, I merge my lived experience, public service, advocacy, and existing research to critically interrogate archetypes that inform our democratic institutions and support civic participation. Currently, I'm investigating how remittances disrupt ideas of public goods and services and have the power to reshape civic involvement. I’m also actively engaged in several community projects.
